Raistlin Majere (Rayss-lin  Muh- jeer)

     born in 326 A.C.(after cataclysm), siblings are kitiara( sister ) and caramon(twin brother) parent are Gilon and Rosamun. He was found by an archmage by the name of antimodes. started training to be a mage at the age of 6. Raistlin took the test at the age of 21 the youngest ever.

     During the test he agrees to raid a friends house with the assistance of 3 dark elves in search of spell books that were dated before the cataclysm.  Instead of spellbooks he found an old arch mage by the name of fistandantilus who lived before the cataclysm only living by feeding off the life force of young mages basically killing them so their life force are transferred to his spirit.  Raistlin strikes a deal with fistandantilus that if he helps raistlin survive, the archmage may have his life force.  So the door flies open and a fireball comes straight to raistlin and instead of killing him (which is the cause of fistandantilus's protection it turns his skin a golden color. After killing off two of the elves, when the archmage comes to collect his life, raistlin refuses.  Taken by surprise, one of the dark elves lives and tries to stab raistlin with a poisoned dagger in which he succeeds, and then raistlin uses the dark elvesdagger and kills the dark elf.

     After waking up he find the dark elf dead and his body racked with weakness and sickness.  caramon comes to him and picks him up and leaves. as soon as they are outside there stands the archmage.  When raistlin tries to fight him caramon says that he will take care of him and he drops his sword and shield and casts a flame spell to fistandantilus killing him.  Raistlin in a fit of rage and jealousy casts a lihgtning spell lighting caramon a flame. caramon tuns into the archmage and says"if your armor is made of fross i will find the crack" meaning if he has a weakness he will find i and found it he did, using his jealousy of his brother, forces caramon to witness his own death. Raistlin staggers and drops to his knees and starts ti cough, coughing up blood, and he drops to his back and there stands fistandantilus and he plunges his hand into raistlins chest to his heart, but he catches the arch mages arm and says" you may take my life but you will serve me in turn" he then passes out.

     From then on his body is racked with sickness mainly his heart and lungs, also his eyes, the pupils are in the shape of hourglasses which are given to him by par-salian (the head of the conclave of mages in the high towers of sorcery) in order to teach him patience, and to pierce the arrogance he has within him. He now has the ability to see time as it affects all things.

     He then was given the red robes, but he later talks with fistandantilus again and makes another bargain for more power he then switches to the black robes, after 5 years he is the most power mage in history since he goes back in time and kills fistandantilus and takes his power his spells and lifeforce.
